Description
Scalecoat II Thinner is the essential companion to Scalecoat II model paints, formulated to deliver a smooth, even spray and the perfect finish every time. Whether you’re airbrushing a detailed locomotive shell, hand-brushing fine details, or restoring an older bottle of paint, Scalecoat II Thinner ensures consistent flow, superior leveling, and clean, professional results.
This high-quality solvent blend maintains the chemistry and durability of Scalecoat II’s paint system—ideal for use on plastic models, resin kits, and delicate details that require a finish as durable as it is realistic.
For best results, adjust your thinner-to-paint ratio based on your equipment and desired viscosity. Typically, start with a 3:1 paint-to-thinner ratio and fine-tune as needed.
⚠️ Important: Scalecoat II Thinner is designed specifically for Scalecoat II paints. Do not use Scalecoat II thinner with Scalecoat I paint.
