Description
Genesis 4-8-8-4 Big Boy locomotive with DCC and sound, offered in Legendary Liveries such as Southern Railway 4075. This ready-to-run model captures the iconic 4-8-8-4 Big Boy design, pairing authentic detailing with onboard SoundTrax Tsunami2 sound for a convincing steam-era experience on the layout.
Built on a heavy die-cast frame with a 5-pole motor, the locomotive delivers solid traction and pulling power, while features such as boiler backhead detailing, individually applied piping, operating eccentric cranks, and see-through running boards and cab windows add realism. Body-mounted scale knuckle couplers, bidirectional LED lighting, and constant headlight brightness enhance operation. It supports both DC and DCC, with full DCC functions and CV adjustments, and a CV chart is included for customization. Road-number options and Primed for Grime finishes offer multiple looks to recreate famous schemes and in-service variations, with Legendary Liveries expanding the roster of eye-catching finishes.
