Description
The N-scale 40-foot Pfaudler Milk Car is a detailed model for N-scale model railroads, recreating a bulk-milk carrier from the early to mid-20th century. The prototype carried milk in two 6,000-gallon glass-lined tanks with a brine cooling system and was often finished in Pullman-green to match era passenger equipment.
On the model, screw-mounted trucks and machined metal wheels with RP25 contours deliver reliable operation and realistic rolling action. A weighted chassis improves stability, while body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers provide authentic coupling. The injection-molded body is highly detailed, with painting and printing to reproduce period decoration. With a minimum track radius of 11 inches, this car fits a wide range of N-scale layouts and captures the character of classic bulk-milk service.
