Description
This N-scale 40-foot offset coal hopper with load, GTW 2, is a detailed freight car designed to model coal transport on N-scale layouts.
It features a removable coal load, a scale-profile brake wheel, and screw-mounted trucks, and it operates on Code 55 and 80 rail. The injection-molded body is highly detailed, with a weighted and painted die-cast underframe, machined metal wheels, and body-mounted McHenry knuckle couplers. The finish is accurately painted and printed, and the model can negotiate tight curves with a minimum radius of 9 3/4 inches, making it a realistic addition to any coal-hauling train on an N-scale layout.
