Description
An N-scale Union Pacific 4-6-6-4 Challenger locomotive with DCC and sound, UP 3933. This coal-burning Challenger from the WWII era brings authentic late-1940s to 1950s UP freight power to your layout, featuring era-appropriate details like a dual smokestack and tender bunker coal extensions.
Fully assembled and ready to run, the model combines a heavy die-cast frame for traction with a detailed cab interior, see-through running boards and cab windows, and McHenry scale knuckle couplers. It uses a five-pole motor with a flywheel for smooth operation and has pivoting front and rear engines to handle tight curves. Sound-equipped versions include a tender-mounted DCC decoder with SoundTraxx Tsunami2, LED lighting, and full DC/DCC functionality with configurable CVs for lifelike engine, whistle, and bell sounds on your layout.
