Description
HO SD70ACe Locomotive with DCC & Sound — Union Pacific 8478. This HO-scale, fully assembled, ready-to-run diesel locomotive brings a modern UP power unit to the layout, driven by a 16-cylinder, 4300-horsepower prime mover. The model includes an onboard DCC decoder with SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound for realistic engine, horn, and bell effects, and dual cube speakers deliver clear, full-range audio that operates in both DC and DCC modes.
On the rails it offers LED lighting with lit number boards and truck lights, a heavy die-cast frame for traction, and all-wheel electrical pickup for steady power on HO track. Details mirror the prototype with features like flexible MU hoses, see-through steps, and lift rings. Designed for HO layouts, it supports a minimum radius of 18 inches (22 inches recommended) for smooth operation.
