This undecorated Phase III variant captures the GP7’s compact profile and features see-through cab windows and a full cab interior to heighten realism when painting and weathering to match a chosen railroad livery.
Built for dependable operation, it rides on Blomberg-B trucks with RP25-wheel contours for smooth tracking on most HO layouts, and its heavy die-cast frame provides solid traction. A Genesis driveline with a 5-pole skew-wound motor delivers steady, quiet power, while LED lighting and fine detailing—including Celcon handrails, etched radiator and fan grilles, and a detailed fuel system—enhance the model’s realism. The design is DCC-ready with Quick Plug plug-and-play technology and a 21-pin NEM connector, with body-mounted scale knuckle couplers compatible with Kadee.
