Description
HO-scale EMD SD60 diesel locomotive with DCC and sound in Norfolk Southern NS 6581. This detailed model reproduces the heavy-haul six-axle SD60 for HO layouts, combining onboard Tsunami2 sound with a DCC decoder for authentic propulsion, braking, and horn effects.
Built with updated tooling and authentic detailing, it features correct door placement and weld marks, see-through cab windows and a full cab interior, plus LED lighting for daytime and night operation. The model rides on RP25 wheel contours with a heavy die-cast frame for traction, and uses body-mounted scale knuckle couplers for reliable coupling. It is DCC-ready with Quick Plug plug-and-play 21-pin NMRA compatibility, runs in both DC and DCC, and supports CV-based customization for lashups and function control; a 22-inch minimum radius ensures smooth operation on most HO layouts.
