Description
GE AC4400CW diesel locomotive in FSRR livery for HO-scale layouts, road number 4416. This model reproduces GE’s AC4400CW design, a staple of North American railroading from 1993 through 2004, capturing the long-hood profile and a broad range of operator paint schemes. Through faithful tooling and prototype research, dozens of variations are represented, giving modelers a roster-ready locomotive with authentic character.
Designed for versatile operation, the locomotive is DCC-ready with Quick Plug 21-pin NEM and features LED lighting, illuminated number boards, ground and walkway lights, plus see-through cab windows and a full interior. The Genesis driveline combines a heavy die-cast frame, a 5-pole skew-wound motor, and precision gearing for smooth, quiet pulling power, with all-wheel electrical pickup and RP25 wheel profiles for compatibility with common tracks. Couplers are McHenry scale knuckle (Kadee-compatible), and many features can be adjusted via DC or DCC CVs; sound-equipped versions add onboard SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound with dual speakers and full NMRA CV support. Minimum radius is 18 inches, with 22 inches recommended for best performance.
