Description
This HO-scale 50-foot FMC double-door boxcar is a ready-to-run model designed to add authentic 1970s FMC service to HO layouts. Its distinctive two-door configuration and bright decoration recreate the era’s look, making it a natural addition to freight yards or mainline scenes.
Built for dependable operation, the model features positionable sliding double doors, body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers, and weighting for smooth, steady performance. The highly detailed injection-molded body is painted and printed for realism, with a separately applied brake wheel and machined RP25 wheels that roll on most popular track brands. It ships fully assembled and ready to run, with a minimum radius of 18 inches to fit a wide range of layouts.
