Description
This HO-scale, 36-foot wood reefer model is a ready-to-run replica of a refrigerated boxcar, designed for HO-scale layouts. It recreates the classic wood-bodied look of reefers used to move perishable freight at controlled temperatures, adding realism to any model railroad.
The model features a weighted chassis for smooth operation, machined RP25 33-inch metal wheels, and McHenry scale-knuckle couplers installed for reliable, prototypical coupling. It arrives fully assembled and ready to run, with crisp painting and printing that capture the wood-bodied reefer’s period feel. Its minimum radius of 18 inches makes it a versatile choice for compact HO layouts as well as larger setups.
